For the dinner table

Today's khutbah reminded us that our families should be the first to experience our kindness, patience, and generosity. Even when we come home tired, they deserve our best effort and care. The khateeb described how the Prophet would come home with a cheerful face and help his family. He also reminded us that everyone has flaws, and constantly pointing out mistakes can weaken the love between us. We can strengthen our homes by noticing each other's good qualities, speaking gently, and helping one another.
