For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that graduations are blessings we should celebrate with gratitude to Allah. He also asked us to prepare for the ultimate graduation: meeting Allah on the Day of Judgment. Good grades, money, and an impressive appearance do not tell the whole story of success, because each of us is responsible for our own deeds. He encouraged us to remember Allah, read Quran every day, and follow the Prophet’s example in worship and character. This summer, we can put that reminder into practice by spending meaningful time together, treating one another well, and working through problems with care.

  1. How could you use something you learned this year to help someone?
  2. What helps you remember to thank Allah when something exciting happens?
