For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that time is a gift and a trust from Allah. We often work hard to succeed at school, work, or sports, and he encouraged us to bring that effort into growing closer to Allah too. He explained that we do not need to leave everything else behind, but should use some of our free time for good deeds. His practical advice included making use of the mornings, beginning with Fajr, and doing good deeds when we have the opportunity instead of putting them off. He also encouraged remembering Allah during everyday activities and using the health and time we have now to prepare to meet Him.

  2. What could help our family make a little more room for Allah in the morning?
  3. When during your day could you pause to remember Allah?
