For the dinner table

The imam told a story about a man who built a masjid during his lifetime instead of waiting for his children to do it after he died. He reminded us that our money, health, senses, and abilities are gifts from Allah that should be used for good before our time ends. After death, our family will bury us and return to their lives, while we face our own deeds alone. The message was to care for our souls now, spend for Allah's sake, and begin doing good while we are still able.
