For the dinner table

The khutbah reminded us that every person is Allah's creation, so faith should lead us toward universal brotherhood. The Prophet Muhammad built a community in Medina where belonging to Allah mattered more than tribe, class, or power. We were encouraged to keep Allah at the center of our choices, use prophetic guidance, speak what is right, and stand firm when doing so is difficult. The examples of Karbala and the Qur'anic reminders about Friday prayer called us to courage, remembrance, and worship. The community was also invited to remember the deceased, attend upcoming majalis, and support the center's hall.
