For the dinner table

The khutbah teaches that true success has both a worldly dimension and, most importantly, a lasting goal: entering Jannah. Wealth, titles, jobs, and even other blessings can change or disappear, so they should not become our ultimate purpose. Every decision and action should help guide us toward Allah and the Hereafter. Success also means raising children who are caring, merciful, helpful, and responsible, and they learn these qualities by watching our example. We should ask Allah for contentment, mercy, righteous families, and success in this life and the next.

  1. What is one choice you can make this week that brings you closer to Jannah?
  2. How can our family show mercy or help someone who needs support?
  3. What good quality do you hope younger children learn by watching you?
