For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that remembering Allah should help us speak honestly and clearly. He warned that lies and distractions can confuse us, especially when technology makes deception more convincing. He encouraged us to learn our history and see fellow Muslims as brothers and sisters across different countries and backgrounds. He also urged us to remember people who are suffering through dua, relief giving, and support for those who speak up for them. We can begin close to home by greeting someone we do not know and offering a smile as an act of charity.
