For the dinner table

The khutbah says the greatest victory is not worldly success but Allah’s reward and entry into Paradise. It teaches that victory is connected to patience, faith and good deeds, obedience, unity, and taking the practical means available to us. The story of Hudaybiyyah shows that a painful moment can still be part of Allah’s wisdom, so believers should submit and keep going. The khateeb asks each person to use their time, wealth, body, mind, and other resources for the good of the Muslim community. He also prays for Palestinians, the wounded, the martyrs, and the community’s chance to reach Ramadan.
