For the dinner table

The khutbah teaches that Allah's promises can take time to unfold, so believers should remain hopeful while working hard and accepting setbacks. The story of Suraqa ibn Malik shows how the Prophet trusted a future victory even when the Muslims were vulnerable. We are reminded that believers support one another, especially people suffering in Palestine, Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and elsewhere. The speaker asks us to pray, help those in need, volunteer locally, and keep our faith and good conduct strong.
