Today’s khutbah taught that Allah created a diverse universe, including the visible world of humans and the unseen world of jinn. Humans and jinn are different in origin, but both have free will, moral responsibility, and a shared purpose: worshipping Allah. The speaker explained that humans were created from clay, while jinn were created from fire, and that angels were created from light. Because jinn are normally hidden from us, we should remember that our sight is limited and Allah’s creation is greater than what we can see. This reminder invites us to be humble, responsible, and mindful of Allah.

  1. What is one part of Allah’s creation you cannot see but can still believe in?
  2. How can remembering that Allah made humans and jinn different help us be humble?
  3. Where do you see free will and accountability in your choices this week?
