Sincere intentions turn life into worship
“Our purpose is to worship Allah.”

“when you go to campus, when you go to class, when you're studying for your midterms and finals, if it's done with the right intention, it becomes ibadah.”

Talk about it at home
For the dinner table
The khutbah says that Allah has given us a clear purpose: to worship Him. Worship is not limited to prayer, fasting, charity, and Quran; sincere, beneficial work, study, family care, and daily chores can also become worship when guided by good intentions and the Prophet's example. We are encouraged to do each task with ihsan, keep a daily connection with the Quran and supplications, and review whether distractions are pulling us away from Allah. With Ramadan approaching, we can use self-accounting to refocus before our limited time and health pass.
- What ordinary thing did you do today that could become worship with a better intention?
- Which short Quran or dua routine would you like to start this week?
- What distraction makes it hardest for you to remember your purpose?
