For the dinner table

The sermon reminded us that life is temporary and that every person will answer for how they used it. Its frightening descriptions of Judgment and Jahannam were meant to wake our hearts before it is too late. The khateeb urged us not to postpone repentance or assume we are guaranteed another day. He encouraged remembering Allah, sending blessings on the Prophet, opening our hearts in prayer, and seeking forgiveness during the last third of the night. The message is to begin turning back to Allah today, with sincerity and hope.
