People can have money, status, and comfort and still feel unsettled because the soul needs its Creator. The khutbah teaches that worldly troubles can feel like weeds, but real freedom comes from staying connected to Allah, as the Prophet Muhammad did when he refused to trade truth for power or wealth. We can nurture that connection through faith, dhikr, salawat, and learning the Quran, Sunnah, and the Prophet's life. On Fridays, we can remember that Jumu'ah is a weekly celebration and ask Allah for peace, forgiveness, and relief for people facing hardship.
