For the dinner table

The khutbah teaches that Allah placed people on earth with a meaningful trust: we can choose, and we are accountable for what we choose. Adam and Eve's mistake did not make humanity permanently cursed; sincere repentance opens the way back to Allah. This world is not a prison, even though it includes pain; it contains blessings and is a place to practice guidance. Allah's commands remain within our responsibility, including prayer, even during hard seasons. We can meet the week with gratitude, repentance, and the courage to make responsible choices.

  1. What is one responsibility you can handle more faithfully this week?
  2. What blessing in this world are you especially grateful for today?
  3. What can you do after making a mistake instead of giving up?
