The khateeb reminded us to have taqwa, proper regard and awe for Allah, and to be truthful in our own lives. He encouraged believers to repair their relationships and seek unity, connecting reconciliation with Allah’s mercy. Through the story of Omar worrying about hypocrisy, he showed that even accomplished people should examine themselves with humility. He taught that dignity comes from Allah and that true freedom means serving Him without letting money, power, or popularity control us. He closed by asking Allah to help us stand sincerely for truth and treat people with kindness, whether they are Muslim or non-Muslim.
