For the dinner table

This khutbah reminded us that family is a gift from Allah and caring for one another is a serious responsibility. Our homes should be places of peace, kindness, and safety, where people can grow in faith. The khateeb emphasized the Prophet’s example of listening to his family and treating them gently, even when there were disagreements. He warned that violence and hurtful words violate people’s rights, and that children learn from the behavior they see at home. He also encouraged us to save energy for our families and hold one another accountable with wisdom when we notice mistreatment.
