For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us to keep Jannah in mind as we make choices each day. He spoke against violence and killing, emphasizing that every human life matters. He encouraged us to speak the truth even when it is difficult and to support our families, neighbors, and community. He reminded us that everyone will return to Allah and spoke of the beautiful greeting of peace awaiting those who were patient. When we make mistakes, we can turn back to Allah, ask for forgiveness, and keep trying to do good.
