For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that worship should continue after Ramadan and the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah. True rest is found in staying close to Allah through prayer, Quran, remembrance, and beneficial knowledge. Our worship should also make us kinder, more patient, and less harmful to our neighbors and families. We can build a simple routine with prayer, Quran, fasting, charity, night worship, and service. Even small acts of kindness can show that faith is alive in our daily lives.

  1. How can we show our faith through kindness to someone nearby?
  2. What private good deed could we do just for Allah?
