Talk about it at home
For the dinner table
The khutbah teaches that Allah has honored every human being and entrusted us with worship, moral responsibility, and care for creation. Because every life has dignity, Muslims should reject oppression and protect people, including those suffering in Gaza. The speaker urged families to join a peaceful protest, give blood if able, remember the sick in dua, and stand for justice for Muslims and non-Muslims. He also reminded young people to listen respectfully during the khutbah and avoid talking, laughing, or using phones.
- How can we show respect for every person’s dignity this week?
- What is one peaceful action our family could take when people are being treated unjustly?
- What helps us listen respectfully during a khutbah or family reminder?
Keep listening
