For the dinner table

Shaykh Mudassir reminded us that frightening events can make us wonder how close the Day of Judgment is. He encouraged us to focus on what we are preparing for that day, instead of getting caught up in speculation about its signs. We prepare by praying regularly, asking Allah for protection, and doing good deeds while we have the opportunity. That includes being kind to our families, helping people in need, and continuing to support those suffering from war and oppression. He reminded us that our good deeds matter before Allah and prayed that we would meet Him with scales heavy with good.

  1. What is one good deed you could do today that you have been putting off?
  2. How could our family help each other pray on time?
