Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

Our children are an amanah, and protecting their iman is more important than providing comfort or possessions. Because online games, chats, and screens can bring unknown influences into the home, parents should learn the technology, set wise boundaries, and talk patiently before resorting to punishment. The strongest lesson is our own example: children notice whether we pray, attend the masjid, and guard our habits. We were also reminded to keep salah at the center of travel and daily plans, to love fellow Muslims for Allah’s sake, and to give or withhold according to His pleasure. The goal is a home where faith is practiced with love, courage, and consistency.
