For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that being created is one of Allah’s greatest blessings. Allah does not only create us and leave us alone; He continues to guide, provide for, heal, and care for us. Human beings can live nobly and gratefully, or forget their purpose and fall very low. Our response should be shukr, or sincere gratitude, because gratitude brings increase and barakah to what we have.
