For the dinner table

Today’s Eid khutbah reminds us that gratitude to Allah is more than saying “Alhamdulillah.” We first notice His blessings, then let the heart recognize that they are gifts, use the tongue to praise Him, and show thanks through worship and how we treat people. Because we have safety and many blessings while others suffer, we should be especially grateful and let Islam’s beauty appear in our everyday conduct without hiding our Muslim identity. The greatest gifts are Islam, iman, the Quran, and belonging to the Prophet’s ummah, so we ask Allah to accept our Ramadan and guide us to live gratefully.

  3. What might it look like to show the beauty of Islam to someone around us?
