When life is comfortable, remembering death keeps us from becoming too attached to wealth, comfort, or dunya and reminds us to prepare our wills and obligations. It can wake us to pray as though each prayer is our last, greet people with peace, and step away from sin. The goal is to live sincerely, obey Allah, and ask for a beautiful ending.
