Faith is the missing strength of the Ummah

“The ummah has everything, except one thing.”

The khateeb, at 6:58

For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah said that a Muslim community can be large and still weak when it loses faith, courage, and concern for others. The speaker used the suffering in Gaza as a call to wake up, care deeply, and turn concern into meaningful action. He urged us to return to the Qur’an and Sunnah, prepare to meet Allah, and use whatever abilities we have for what is right. He also reminded us that being a strong Ummah means encouraging good, resisting wrong, and growing in belief. At home, we can begin by praying regularly, learning together, and taking part in helpful community activities.
