For the dinner table

With the right intention, marriage can be an act of worship, but it also carries a serious shared responsibility. A healthy Muslim family grows through love, compassion, respect, discipline, and thoughtful upbringing. Domestic violence is oppression, not a normal marital disagreement, and the community should support victims and hold perpetrators accountable. When conflict becomes severe, people should calm themselves and, if separation is necessary, pursue it with dignity and goodness. We should also remember oppressed Palestinians, work for justice and peace, and teach others about their suffering.
