The khateeb used a courthouse trial to help us imagine the seriousness of the Hereafter. On that Day, each person will stand alone, answer for life and deeds, and face witnesses from even their own body. He warned us especially not to harm other people, because their rights matter deeply before Allah. He also reminded us that the Prophet Muhammad will intercede by Allah’s permission, so we should not lose hope in mercy. Our simple path is to worship Allah sincerely and be kind to His creation.
