For the dinner table

The masjid is one of the places most beloved to Allah, so being able to gather there is a great blessing. We were created to worship and know Allah, while Allah does not need our worship and is the One who provides for us. The sermon warned that a big house, nice car, or large bank balance cannot guarantee happiness if we lose our connection with Allah. The story of Thumama showed how time in the masjid can soften and transform even a hardened heart. We should attend the masjid more often, seek Allah above worldly success, and support places that help people find guidance.

  2. What kind of happiness lasts longer than getting a new possession?
  3. How could our family spend more meaningful time at the masjid?
