For the dinner table

Brother Saleem encouraged us to learn from the Prophet’s life by noticing how he planned, brought people together, and built a community. He explained that a vision means thinking about the future we hope to see, including our children and grandchildren becoming community leaders. Each of us has different strengths, and we can use them to serve others while trusting Allah with the results. He encouraged young people to take part in school and public life while holding on to Islamic values. He also reminded us to welcome people across our differences and to think beyond our own comfort toward the community’s future needs.
