For the dinner table

Today the imam reminded us that we need Allah for everything, including guidance, food, clothing, and forgiveness. He encouraged us to turn to Allah first, ask Him humbly for help, and keep our connection strong through salah. He explained that serving Allah frees us from being controlled by things like wealth, fame, or our own ego. He also reminded us to treat people fairly, because getting away with hurting someone does not erase our responsibility. Allah does not need our worship, but we benefit from faith and good deeds, and we can turn to Him in repentance when we make mistakes.

  1. What is something you would like to ask Allah for help with today?
