For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that Islam gives us a clear mission: worship Allah alone. Reciting Surah al-Kafirun and Surah al-Ikhlas in the Sunnah prayers of Fajr and Witr can renew that mission at the beginning and end of the day. Trusting Allah does not mean becoming passive; it means acting wisely, living honestly, and remembering that our outcomes remain within His decree. In difficult times, we should stay close to Allah and help people who are suffering.

  1. What pressures make it hardest to remember Allah during your day?
  2. How can you show worship through honesty at school, work, or online?
  3. What does trusting Allah look like when something difficult happens?
