Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah focused on resilience, sacrifice, and unity through the example of the Prophet’s life and migration. The khateeb reminded us to keep hoping in Allah’s mercy when we face hardship, including hurt from people close to us. He also asked us to look honestly at how we treat our families, because harsh words and actions can cause deep pain. He encouraged us to sacrifice our pride and take a step toward letting go of a wrong we are holding in our hearts for Allah’s sake. Finally, he described the early Muslims building the masjid together and encouraged us to strengthen our community through worship, goodness, and unity.

  2. What could our family do together to help our community?
