For the dinner table

Today's khutbah reminded us that friendship is a precious blessing and that we need one another's care and support. The khateeb compared believers to a strong building and to one body, sharing both happiness and pain. He explained that our faith should show in good manners, love, and kindness, even through a small gesture or a kind word. He urged us to choose righteous friends because the people around us influence who we become. He also spoke about the hope that righteous friends may intercede for one another in the hereafter with Allah's approval, and encouraged us to pray for harmony in our friendships.
