For the dinner table

The khutbah teaches that sacrifice is not limited to the Eid offering. Ibrahim, Muhammad, and the companions gave up comfort, wealth, home, and even life to remain faithful to Allah. We are encouraged to support people suffering in Palestine through prayer, generosity, and advocacy. Remembering death can help us resist easy temptations and choose obedience. Parents should also bring children into good deeds so they learn faith through shared action.
