Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

This khutbah reminded us that the most important thing in life is to worship Allah alone. Shirk can be obvious, like asking the dead for help, or hidden, like showing off in prayer or treating Qur'an verses as objects of protection. The Qur'an should be recited, understood, and lived, not merely displayed. Because Shaytan keeps tempting people until their last breath, we should regularly check our intentions, remember Allah, and protect our hearts. We can ask Allah every day to keep our tawhid sincere and let us die as Muslims.

  1. How can we show that the Qur'an is guiding our actions at home?
  2. What helps you worship sincerely when nobody else is watching?
  3. What is one phone or screen habit that helps protect your heart?
