For the dinner table

Allah gives us blessings we often stop noticing: safety, health, food, family, and the ability to worship. The khutbah teaches that gratitude is not just a feeling or one special day; it is a daily way of living that remembers Allah and uses blessings well. We can protect gratitude by looking humbly at people facing hardship, sharing food and charity, speaking kindly, and avoiding harm, gossip, waste, and excess. Health and free time are precious opportunities, so we should use them for prayer, remembrance, service, and good deeds. Patience and gratitude together shape a believer's faith, even during hardship.
