Allah sees and rewards sincere effort

“Allah recognizes me, and that's enough for me to continue.”

The khateeb, at 13:18

Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

Many people work hard in school, jobs, homes, and families but feel unseen when nobody says thank you. The khutbah teaches that Allah is Ash-Shakur, the One who notices sincere effort, values even small deeds, and rewards them greatly. We should do good for Allah rather than depending entirely on human praise. We should also copy this quality by encouraging and appreciating the people around us, especially for efforts others may overlook.

  1. What is one small helpful thing you did this week that nobody noticed?
  2. Who in our family deserves encouragement today, and what could you say?
  3. How can we remove a 'branch' from someone else's path this week?
