Talk about it at home
For the dinner table
Today's khutbah reminded us that Allah gives us countless blessings, including many we easily overlook. Along with health and family, we can be thankful for our faith and our ability to do good. True gratitude brings together what we say, what we feel in our hearts, and what we do. We can say Alhamdulillah sincerely and use Allah's gifts to obey Him and help others. Even being able to thank Allah is itself a blessing from Him. The khateeb also encouraged us to stay connected to the masjid after Ramadan.
- What blessing did you notice today that you usually forget about?
- How could you turn saying Alhamdulillah into a helpful action tomorrow?
- What is one thing you enjoyed at the masjid during Ramadan that you would like to keep doing?
