For the dinner table

The khutbah reminds us that our main goal should be the Hereafter and earning Allah’s pleasure. It teaches that Allah has already written our provision, so constant fear about money and possessions cannot give us more than He has decreed. We should still work and care for our families, but worldly success should not become the center of our lives. When we focus on worship and trust Allah, we can face life with greater peace and contentment.

  1. What worldly worry makes it hardest for you to focus on the Hereafter?
  2. How can our family practice trusting Allah while still working hard?
  3. What act of worship could we make more consistent this week?
