For the dinner table

Today's khutbah taught us that injustice is forbidden, no matter who is harmed or who has power. We should protect people's lives, property, and freedom, and use any authority we have with mercy and fairness. Parents should not make angry supplications against their children, and anyone who is wronged should avoid revenge and trust Allah to restore their rights. We should also avoid wronging ourselves by disobeying Allah and instead live by His commands.

  1. How can we show justice when we have power over someone else?
  2. What should we do when someone treats us unfairly?
  3. Why should we be careful about what we say when we are angry?
