For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that the last ten nights of Ramadan are a rare gift and a chance to seek Laylat al-Qadr. He encouraged us to attend night prayer, add two rak'ahs of tahajjud before Fajr, and make sincere dua every night. We should ask Allah with humility and trust that His answer will be good for us, even if it is not exactly what we expected. The sermon also reminded us that Allah’s generosity is beyond our imagination, so we should value these nights and return to Him with confidence. As a family, we can choose one small act of worship and one heartfelt dua to carry through the remaining nights.

  1. What is one dua you would like to make during these last nights?
  2. When is a time you felt that Allah’s answer was good, even though it was different from what you expected?
  3. What small act could our family do tonight to value these final nights?
