For the dinner table

Death is certain, and one day we will answer to Allah for what we did. The khutbah reminds us that making mistakes does not close the door to Allah: the best sinners are those who repent. We should loosen our grip on worldly attachment, pray on time, and make a special effort to attend Friday Fajr in congregation. We can also send more blessings upon the Prophet and ask Allah to help us reach Ramadan with fasting, night prayer, self-control, and Qur'an recitation. The closing prayers ask for mercy, family goodness, unity, safety, and a good ending.

  3. What would help us get to Friday Fajr together?
