Today's khutbah reminded us that the Qur'an is a source of healing for struggles in the heart. It showed how believers can turn to Allah when they feel afraid, attached to worldly things, anxious, bullied, or overwhelmed by hardship. The stories of the Muslims after Uhud, Yunus, the believer in Pharaoh's household, and a suffering prophet were presented as living examples, not entertainment. When life feels difficult, we should remember Allah, make sincere supplication, entrust our affairs to Him, and trust His mercy and bounty.
