Death and judgment call us to prepare

“The absence of a hereafter creates so many unanswered questions in this life.”

The khateeb, at 10:57

The khateeb reminded us that this life passes quickly and that we are preparing to meet Allah. He explained that reminders of life’s limits are part of Allah’s mercy, giving us opportunities to correct our mistakes while we still have time. We prepare through faith, steadfastness, and good deeds, trusting that Allah’s perfect justice will be fulfilled in the hereafter. In sujood, we can admit how much we need Allah and ask Him for help from our hearts. Worship grows from love, reverence, and sound knowledge, and we show that love through the good we do.

  1. What would you like to ask Allah for the next time you make sujood?
  2. What would you like to learn about Allah’s guidance, and how could we learn it together?
