For the dinner table

The khutbah reminded us that love grows through steady remembrance. Just as a vine wraps around a tree until they seem joined together, regular dhikr and salawat can make love of Allah and the Prophet Muhammad part of who we are. As families rebuild routines around school, meals, homework, and activities, we should also reserve time for remembering Allah. This practice can nourish a hopeful faith that looks forward to meeting Allah and His Messenger. Even a simple shared family goal, practiced consistently, can grow into something meaningful over weeks, months, and years.

  1. What do you think it means for love of Allah to become part of who you are?
  2. What small act could help you feel closer to the Prophet Muhammad this week?
