For the dinner table

Imam Taha reminded us that our love and devotion to Allah should show in how we worship and live. He explained that fear of doing wrong and hope in Allah’s mercy work together to guide us. Worship calls for sincere intentions and learning to follow the Prophet’s example, rather than trying to impress other people. He also reminded us that rituals are only one part of our commitment, which includes our moral character. Our devotion should continue through both ease and hardship, and he asked us to remember people suffering in Gaza, Palestine, Sudan, and elsewhere and pray for their relief.
