For the dinner table

The khateeb began by reminding us to thank Allah for His blessings, even when life is difficult. He explained that marriage should bring peace, affection, and mutual respect, with obedience to Allah at its foundation. Because no marriage is perfect, family life needs patience, kindness, and a willingness to say we are sorry. He encouraged couples to live within their means and avoid judging their home by what other families have. He also reminded us to make time for our spouses and children, put aside digital distractions, and grow closer to Allah through prayer and learning together.
