The khateeb reminded us that Allah’s guidance is for our own good and that we still have a choice in how we live. He urged us to obey Allah, guard our speech, avoid confusing influences online, and remember that this life is temporary while the Hereafter is lasting. Taqwa means combining the obligatory acts with extra worship, gratitude, generosity, and readiness to meet Allah. We should notice people who are struggling quietly, reflect on Allah’s creation, and return to prayer and the mosque.
