For the dinner table

The khutbah begins by reminding us that death is certain for every creature and that life is a test of how well we act. Shaykh Ammar speaks openly about losing his brother, mother, and recently his father, explaining that tears and sadness are natural while our words should still please Allah. He describes his father’s sacrifices and says fathers often carry love and hardship quietly while teaching their children how to live. The main call is to treat living parents, especially aging fathers, with kindness, respect, gentle speech, and prayer. Caring for them is presented as an open path to Jannah, while patience through loss prepares us for the Hereafter.
