For the dinner table

The khutbah reminds us that the Quran is not a cold rulebook but a loving message from Allah. Before trying to understand its commands, we should learn who Allah is, especially Ar-Rahman and Ar-Rahim, the Merciful and Compassionate. The speaker encouraged us to approach the Quran with trust, gratitude, and humility, believing that its guidance is meant to heal and lead us toward Jannah. We can carry this into the week by reading with reflection, asking what Allah is teaching us, and thanking Him in every circumstance.

  1. What is one way Allah’s mercy appeared in our family this week?
  2. When a Quran verse feels difficult, what could we do before giving up?
  3. What is one blessing and one responsibility you can thank Allah for today?
